I hope you are all well and in good spirits as 2023 speeds to a close.
It has been a very busy year for Diabetes South Africa with lots going on. Please go to the DSA News page and see what we have been up to around the country during National Diabetes Month.
I’m sure you will enjoy Russell Smith’s story, Big in Japan, and the beautiful photos of the cherry blossoms. Russell is known as one of SA’s best commercial photographers.

There are so many great articles written for you in this summer issue. You can never stop learning and reading about diabetes. Knowledge on all the issues relating to diabetes can be shared with friends, colleagues and your family, and might help or encourage someone with managing their diabetes.
At the 2022 World Diabetes Congress, I was appointed as the Vice President of Southern Africa Region of the International Diabetes Federation. I hope that I can do justice to the role and be able to assist diabetes organizations in the countries which fall within Southern Africa.

You can make it in 3 easy steps.
