Dear members and friends,
Isn’t it good to have COVID restrictions lifted and be able to gather together again with family, friends and colleagues?
In the Western Cape the weather is getting warmer and the spring flowers are out. It feels so great to be able to plan outings and camps for our children with Type 1 diabetes again, after the long break due to COVID.
We have some interesting articles for you this spring Issue. I will definitely be trying out the exercises suggested by BASA in Resistance bands to manage your insulin resistance.
The timing for Best snack options for hiking and picnics is great, we need to shake off the winter blues and get outdoors and get some vitamin D.
